Five-star reviews.
Outstanding workmanship, highly recommended for your small to large projects. Dependable, reliable and very aware of the customer vision. Patrick will be our go to man with all our home improvement. His service are well worth the price which are indeed very affordable. ( Excellent job installing pre-hung door )
Patrick came to finish a kitchen pantry that 2 other contractors started and couldn't complete. He hung the door, the jam and trim and it looks great! He was friendly, professional, worked quickly and cleaned up afterwards. Keeping his number for any future projects we need help with.
Patrick came through for us when we found ourselves in need of someone to remove an exterior door of a 1940s Crescent Lake (St Pete) home in a manner that would complement the exterior of the house. He gave us a quote, and he provided building materials at our request. Patrick secured the necessary permits promptly on our behalf, he was punctual, and he was a tireless worker. He was capable, pleasant, and professional and he has a great sense of humor. When he discovered prior termite damage during the project, he showed us and he worked with us to address the issue without increasing his estimate. He cares deeply about the quality of his workmanship, customer satisfaction, and he is an honest and trustworthy man. His clean up is meticulous. It is our intention to hire him again for our future remodeling projects, and we do not hesitate to recommend him. […] The interior wall was similarly impressive.
Patrick & Dylan do absolutely amazing work and cannot speak highly enough of them. I hired them initially for a full kitchen remodel, which included doubling the size of the kitchen, taking out walls, window install, masonry, paintwork, tile work, and more. I have also had them back since for door installs, tile work, windows, and other odd jobs.
Their quotes are extremely fair for the large scope of work they offer, and have never had a single occurrence of being nickel & dimed as a project went on. They set their prices and schedule up front with the signed project scope/payment schedule and have been amazingly prompt, courteous, and accommodating with every project. The attention to detail, time to planning & execution, and final outcomes are genuinely top tier.
In short, hire Patrick & Dylan, they are bar none the most personable & top notch guys I've ever hired to take on jobs for me.
Common questions.
Do I need a permit to replace an exterior door?
Usually. Clearwater, for example, says "replacement of windows, doors, garage doors or skylights in existing or altered wall openings" needs a permit (City of Clearwater), and exterior doors must carry Florida product approval or local approval (s. 553.842, 553.8425). Since July 1, 2026, a single-family owner (or the owner's contractor) can ask the building department in writing, with the contract or other documents, to exempt work valued under $7,500, but not in a flood hazard area and not for structural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical or gas work (s. 553.79(1)(g)). Pinellas County (for unincorporated areas) lists doors among possible examples for that request, while St. Petersburg treats window and door replacement as structural, so it isn't eligible there. Your building department decides; we handle the permit and inspections for our work.
Can you fix my door instead of replacing it?
Often, yes. Many sticking or sagging doors just need the hinges, strike or jamb adjusted. If the jamb or threshold is rotted, we rebuild it (see wood rot repair).
Do you install pre-hung doors?
Yes, interior and exterior, along with slab doors, barn doors and the trim around them.
How do I get a price?
Text (727) 366-7607 a photo of the door and the opening, or use the quote form. You'll get a written estimate before any work starts.
