Drywall repair in Clearwater and Pinellas County
Need drywall repair in Clearwater, FL or anywhere in Pinellas County? Doorknob holes, cracked seams, nail pops, old anchors and water-stained ceilings: we patch, tape, texture and prime so the repair disappears once it's painted, and when water caused the damage, we make sure the leak is fixed first. Text us a photo for a free estimate.
Patched, matched, gone.
How we handle it.
From small dents and anchor holes to cut-out sections, patched, taped and feathered out so the repair doesn't show.
Orange peel, knockdown and smooth finishes matched to the rest of the wall or ceiling.
Wet, stained or sagging drywall cut out and replaced once the leak is fixed. If the leak is from plumbing, a licensed plumbing contractor repairs it (s. 489.113(3)); if it's from the roof, you hire a licensed roofing contractor directly.
We prime every repair, and we can paint the whole wall or ceiling so everything matches.

So nice and appreciated to finally meet a man that is fair, honest, knowledgeable and on time. Thank you Patrick I love my ceiling. You and your associates are a pleasure to work with.
A total thumbs up to Patrick! I had a laundry list of things that needed to be done to my home and everything was done thoroughly and professionally. He had to fix things that people I’ve hired in the past did poorly. He made suggestions and always had my best interest at heart. Do not hesitate to hire him!
We have hired Patrick now for two jobs and each time was a great experience. His attention to detail along with his professionalism and fair prices is hard to find these day. I recommend Patrick to anyone looking for handyman services.
Common questions.
How much does drywall repair cost?
In Tampa, Angi puts the average drywall repair at $642, with most jobs between $324 and $1,017, and a small hole at about $25 to $125 (updated July 2026). See our drywall repair cost guide for prices by repair type and size, or text us a photo for a free estimate.
Can you match my wall or ceiling texture?
Yes. We match orange peel, knockdown and smooth finishes so the repair blends in once it's painted.
Do I need a permit for drywall repair?
It depends on the job and your city. In Clearwater, for example, the city says replacing walls, any framing work, repairing wall, floor or roof sheathing, replacing windows and doors, and installing or replacing siding, soffits and fascia need a permit (City of Clearwater), and that in general painting doesn't (City of Clearwater FAQ). When water damage reaches framing, wiring or plumbing, more work is involved. We check with your building department before we start.
What if there's mold behind the drywall?
In Florida, mold assessment and remediation over 10 square feet are licensed work when you hire someone, unless an exemption applies (ss. 468.8411, 468.8419, 468.841). We're not mold assessors or remediators. Once the mold is handled and the leak is fixed, we rebuild the drywall. For small patches, see our guide to cleaning up a small mold patch.
Is it safe to sand drywall in an older home?
In homes built before 1978, painted surfaces may contain lead, and the EPA's lead-safe rules apply to paid renovation work that disturbs them. We ask when your home was built; if it's pre-1978, lead-disturbing work is handled by an EPA lead-safe certified firm.
